Neurosurgery Walking Challenge
We DID it!
It’s been six weeks since we started our steps challenge. As of February 27 we collectively walked 9.8 million steps. We crushed the Pacific Crest Trail,
in fact we basically walked it twice! Or, to put it another way we walked the
entire Pacific Crest trail, up through the state of Alaska and all the way to
the Bering Strait in Siberia. Now that is FAR!
It was great to see so many people joining the challenge, putting in the
effort and building community in our department.
Second Neurosurgery Department Walking Challenge By the Numbers:
- 42 Participants
- Over 9.8 Million steps walked collectively
- ~4900 miles covered virtually
