On Friday, March 20th at 9 am PDT, graduating medical students across the nation tore open their red envelopes to reveal where they had matched for residency training. It was a celebratory and meaningful moment across campuses, marking the culmination of years of dedication and the beginning of an exciting new chapter. Here at Stanford, we are proud to share that two of our own home students, Brandon Bergsneider and Maria Isabel (Bel) Barros Guinle, matched here at Stanford, continuing their journey with our department.
We are also thrilled to welcome Sameer Sundrani from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and Cameron Hill from Harvard Medical School to our program! Together, these four exceptional individuals will join our neurosurgery residency training program and begin their seven-year training on June 25, 2026. We look forward to supporting their growth and celebrating their accomplishments in the years ahead!
