In light of the new year, we’d like to welcome any of our administrative staff to join either of our two committees: The Wellness committee and JEDI-B (Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging) committee. We have had success with these two committees over the past year hosting events and increasing the awareness of physical and mental wellness, and diversity for our staff. We would like to extend the opportunity for anyone new to join and get involved with department initiatives!
If you are interested to join either of these committees and can commit to a one-year term, please email Ann Crevelt (acrevelt@stanford.edu). If you are already on a committee and would like to continue for another year, please indicate so by emailing Ann. Ann will now be overseeing both committees and providing guidance on logistics and department budget policies. We will ask each member to contribute to the committee by taking a leading role in at least one department event per year.
