The JEDI-B committee is organizing an AAPI Heritage Month celebration for the entire department on May 31 with AAPI food, posters, and speakers. The goal is to celebrate the heritage of our AAPI staff, discuss cultural traditions, and highlight how our cultures have shaped our identities.
We want to make this event as inclusive as possible so we are reaching out to faculty, residents, and postdocs as well as staff.
Do you identify as AAPI? Please let us know by Monday, March 27 if you are interested in participating in our poster initiative or would like to speak at the event by filling out our Smartsheet.
If you participate, we will send you a brief questionnaire (2-3 questions) and ask you for a few photos. We will create posters for each person (feel free to keep yours after the event).
