Take a PAWS for Your Well-being
Let’s kick off Mental Health Awareness Month by taking a quick “PAWS” out of your day
to say hello to the furry friends at Stanford Hospital! This is a wonderful opportunity to
relax, de-stress, and connect with others in a supportive environment.
Join us for the May Cuddle for Caregivers session, hosted by the Pet Assisted Wellness
at Stanford (PAWS) program. PAWS is a heartwarming animal visitation initiative
designed to bring joy and comfort to patients, families, and staff at Stanford Hospital.
Pet-assisted therapy is shown to improve mental health by reducing stress, promoting
social interaction, and enhancing emotional well-being.
